Inside furniture out

This post at Chatelaine.com is a fantastic and inspirational take on transforming basic furniture. Reminds me I have two cabinets I started over a year ago and haven't finished yet. oops!

There are 5 different takes on the cabinet in the article, but this is my favourite. I think I like it not because of colour choices or the layout, but because it's a little incongruous using a piece on indoors furniture for an outside use. Wouldn't it be fantastic if it could be placed outside in a garden in plain view along side the potting shed or greenhouse?
